Aged in oloroso sherry butts to achieve a depth of flavour from the wine-imbued barrel that surpasses its years.
ON THE NOSE
Aromas of nuts and dark chocolate are followed by marzipan, spice and fruit.
A REFESHING PALATE
Mellow honeyed malt, oils and a pleasant gentle wood finish with mild sweetness.

Alex Thomas decided to break the rules of traditional single malt whiskey. She set out to create an unexpected yet more approachable taste profile. Guiding carefully selected oloroso sherry casks through maturation, the bold taste and smooth finish that are unique to the Sexton were born. A sexton is the caretaker of precious items and a custodian of sacred things. As Master Blender, with fifteen years perfecting her craft, Alex is the gatekeeper of The Sexton and its story.
